Why and How?
About presentations
Eva
It’s a really interesting presentation! Iwas really confused when first saw the paragraph. After watching the film, it became even more confusing. However, I finally figured out what subtle relationship between those two different resources. There I come up an idea that multimedia makes everything easier to understand. Without the movie, I would never associate a short paragraph with the image of a kite. Anyway, multimedia conribute a lot to our understanding toward the world.

What’s new in LATINA?
Coming back from movie editing, we started a new day about ‘learn & teach 2.0’. What impressed me a lot is how we read the books. Unlike the traditional reading habit, we start from the websites and search for summary and backgrounds. Without scaning word by word, searching line by line, turning page by page, we got a more efficient way to know about the whole book. Sounds nice! Isn’t it?

What Happened in Tibet?
The Tibet issue is a continuous debate which last years. Let’s see some of the reports from different group.
Western Media collection from Xinhuanet
Chinese Media: China Daily
Foldore Media: Dalai-Liar, Youtube
It is a conplicated problem always under debate. No matter how hard I explain that Tibet is a party of China, people in the other part of the world still think they should be indepandent. That’s the problem in cross-cultural journalism which is hard to meet an agreement.
